All God’s Children have a place at EBC! Every Sunday morning we make sure the needs of our little ones are met.
For the Youngest in the bunch we have a loving nursery available during Sunday School and Worship services for babies.
For PreSchool and Kindergarten ~ Little Friends Church Service on Sunday mornings. We all start out in the sanctuary for prayer and worship and then the Little Friends leave the pews before the sermon. The Little Friend Leader for the day will lead the kids to a special service set up just for 3 to 5 year olds. (in Room 205 upstairs) Parents can pick up their children after church service upstairs. 1st thru 5th graders ~ Sunday Morning Children’s Church is held the first and third Sunday mornings of the month. We leave the adult service before the sermon for our own special, bible-based, fun worship service. The message, music and activities are geared to help 1st through 5th graders give and get the most from their worship experience. Parents can come pick us up upstairs in the room at the end of the hall or in Rm. 205 when the service is over.

I can’t believe it is already July and the Summer is half over! I am so excited to be here at Evergreen Baptist Church and more excited to see what God has planned for His work in the Youth and Children’s Ministry. I want to thank everyone for a warm welcome. My family and I are starting to feel right at home. Please continue to be patient with me as I am trying to learn names, faces, families and “who belongs to who”.
I want to extend a very heartfelt thank you for such a thoughtful gift for my office. The view is great! Ha! I think I am going to fit right in!!
We are continuing our summer games and Bible study on Sunday evenings for children of all ages and Youth. Praise God, we had 18 young people last Sunday night!
I want to thank all of you who attended the Children’s meeting last month. It was such a blessing to see such a large number of people dedicated to the Children’s Ministry. I look forward to working with you all and getting to know all of you better as we serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ together.
Areas of need in the Children’s & Youth Ministry:
1.) 2nd-3rd grade Sunday School teacher
2.) Children’s Church volunteers ages 3-5, curriculum provided
3.) VBS volunteers
4.) PW4K preschool choir teacher starting in the fall
5.) Anyone who would like to help with the youth…chaperone, food, open your home, etc.

Wednesdays At EBC
Come join us each Wednesday evening from 5:30 - 7:00 pm
Come one, come all…Every Wednesday night to AWANA.
We’ll start each night off with a fellowship and family meal at 5 p.m.
After the meal, the Youth head upstairs for Velocity and all younger kids from K thru 5th grades head to AWANA. For the adults we have Bible Study and Prayer Group in the sanctuary following our meal.
Please note that our EBC bus runs each Wed. so if you or your kids need a ride to church, please call our church office at 502-223-8364 to let us know.
We do have a Weather policy that sometimes changes our schedule, so if there is no
school due bad weather, the evening meal, AWANA and Velocity will be cancelled.

What IS AWANA?
A kid’s ministry without fun is a ministry without kids!
That’s why AWANA takes fun “seriously”. While kids are having a blast, they’re learning and growing, too. They participate in games & activities that train their bodies as they learn verses & spiritual truths that expand their minds. Kids encounter life lessons that feed their souls. With caring, trained leaders investing time, love & wisdom into shaping children’s lives, parents will quickly discover that AWANA is a fun approach to a serious calling.

K – 2nd graders = Sparks
3rd – 5th graders = Truth & Training (TNT)
